  • Coordinate resolution of production and technical issues with appropriate company and contractor resources on and off-site
  • Ensure appropriate Material Handling and Working Environment reviews are carried out at site and that findings are resolved and implemented by contractor
  • Review field change requests and change assessments in accordance with Management of Change Plan
  • Assist PMT in meeting RGEE expectation as required
  • Ensure Contractor management systems are followed
  • Assist in the preparation of daily activity reports
  • Serve as day-to-day interface with EPC contractor/craft labor during the Execution phase providing a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule

  • Coordinate service activities, such as cranes, staging, supporting trades

  • Closely monitors contractors and provide guidance to ensure full understanding of the scope and minimize construction claims
  • Document contract crew activities, prepare and present periodic oral and written update reports and verify the accuracy of contractor invoicing
  • Oversee the activities of multiple contract construction crews contractor management for timely completion of assigned work
  • Coordinate mandatory, on-going employee training (OQ, Block, Competent Person, Pipe & Steel Joining, Respirator, HR, EMRF)
  • Review plans, specifications, and estimates regarding project design

Qualifications for construction supervisor

  • 5) years’ experience in large-scope construction site operation
  • Prefer (5) years in warehouse supervisor position
  • Fire retardant clothing provided by Steamboat Facilities is required
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline (Construction Management preferred) and 2 or more years of experience in construction supervision preferred
  • A strong technical background in mechanical equipment installation / pipe fitting / HVAC or demonstrated experience in the chemical industry where related technical skills were applied
  • Be familiar with quality control techniques and their application in the construction industry
