(September Exam), Section Wise MAT Syllabus (2023)

MAT September 2022 Syllabus is divided into 5 key sections namelyLanguage Comprehension, Mathematical skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian and Global Environment with 40 questions in each section. The questions in each section as per MAT exam 2022 syllabus are of moderate difficulty level.

September MAT 2022 exam dates are from August 28 to September 18, 2022. MAT May exam is scheduled in three testing modes CBT, PBT and IBT. There is one CBT and one PBT Mode MAT exam on different dates and more than one week long IBT MAT testing window with 10 exams on different dates. The IBT mode MAT exam is in addition to Computer based MAT and Paper based MAT exams without any change in MAT syllabus September 2022. Candidates can appear in IBT MAT from convenience of their home instead of going to exam centres. All the three MAT exams have similar MAT syllabus and the same difficulty level.

AIMA MAT 2022 September Syllabus is based on past MAT exams and types of questions that appeared in the exam. Although, the MAT Exam 2022 Syllabus has not been strictly pre-defined by AIMA, the topics covered in MAT Syllabus Sep 2022 are updated as per the changes in MAT exam questions and test pattern. MAT Sep 2022 Syllabus therefore, covers all the important topics on which questions are formed in each section.

Since AIMA has been conducting MAT exam since 1988, the MAT 2022 exam syllabus has also gone with some changes over a period of time.

Sectional Sub-division of MAT 2022 September Syllabus
MAT syllabus 2022 is further subdivided. This sectional sub-division in MAT September 2022 syllabus makes MAT as an exam with 8 effective sections.

MAT exam syllabus 2022 for section one - Language Comprehension is divided into two parts - Verbal Ability syllabusand Reading Comprehension syllabus. Similarly, syllabus for section two - Intelligence & Critical Reasoning also consists of two parts with different type of reasoning questions. The syllabus 2022 for Data Analysis & Data sufficiency also has two types of questions – the first type is on Data Analysis which is closer to Data Interpretation and other questions are on Data sufficiency.

All the sections have equal number of questions. The Exam Syllabus for Quantitative Ability section is also very wide and covers each and every topic in Mathematics with greater emphasis on Arithmetic.
